in my brain.

It's been a while (I always seem to open with that anymore, I should put it on a shirt) and it's been winter. I feel like a dried out slug in winter. We spent most of February frozen over. It took near on 3 weeks for the property we're on to be accessible to anything other than a 4 wheel drive. The ice was a lot.

We also find ourselves packing up to spend spring in Texas and Louisiana. The band was hired in to the Sherwood Forest Festival for March and another gig in late April in Louisiana. Then we race our way back north to play a the Virginia Renaissance Festival.

I've cut back on my crochet because I'm running out of storage space until I sell some stuff and, honestly, my hands hurt. I also seem to have worn out my right shoulder which I'm thinking is a rotator cuff thing but I won't know until summer when we head to MD and I can start the many doc appts all of that will take to deal with.

Due to that, I may skip grinding at MDRF. I'm scheduled to be in with the band for one weekend and may just visit the BBs the rest of the weeks in hopes to unload crochet OR ... my latest keep-my-hands-busy obsession - miniatures. Not really for any particular reason other than I like making them. I decided to make a stupid goal to create all 100 trinkets from the DnD trinket list I found. I have no idea how long that will take me but I'm going to set up a running list of the ones I finish.

I've also decided to make a small zine called Tales From The Wayward Pussy Inn. We'll see how that goes and how it ties back to this website. I still really need to put some work in here but honestly, I'm happy to let my Bluesky posts carry the bulk of info here.

Bluesky, by the way, is the only social media I'm active on. I'm really trying to limit my digital footprint a bit.

Next post will either be from the road or about the zine. Stay tuned ...
